Richland was built in the southeastern corner of Washington State on the Columbia River by the Army Corps of Engineers.
The land had been farm land, acquired by the U.S. Government in order to build a town for the workers at Hanford.

If the humor of Dupus Boomer is hard to understand: "You most probably should have been there!!"
